Significance: Biotin Interference possible. Samples should not be taken from patients receiving therapy with high biotin doses (ie, >5 mg/day) until at least 8 hours following the last biotin administration.
Special Instructions: This test is intended only for patients on Entresto (Sacubitril). Patients not on Entresto should order BNP levels to monitor natriuretic peptides.
