Significance: Specimens should be drawn prior to digital rectal exam and/or prostatic manipulation or biopsy. Valid for males between 40-75 years and a Total PSA bewtween 2.5-10 ng/mL and not history of prostate cancer. Patient results determined by assays using different manufacturers for methods may not be comparable.
