Pediatric Requirements: 1 light green top microtainer
Volume: 1 mL plasma
Minimum Volume: 1 light green top
Temperature: Separate within 1 hour and store/ship @ ambient temperature until delivery.
Stability: Room temperature: 2 weeks; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 1 year
Reasons for Rejection: Hemolysis, icteric specimens, and lipimia; improper collection; QNS
