Reasons for Rejection: Clotted or improper collection
Days Performed: Daily
Times Performed: Must be in lab by 1 pm for same day analysis.
TAT: Same day
Special Instructions: If on oral Tacrolimus, please draw level within one hour prior to the dose.
If on intravenous Tacrolimus: Hold infusion 30 minutes before obtaining a level. Please draw through non-tacrolimus containing lumen. Tacrolimus adheres to the lumen which is why levels cannot be drawn from any lumen that tacrolimus has previously been infused in.
