Significance: Disclaimer: This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Vanderbilt University Medical Center Diagnostic Laboratory. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not approved or cleared this test; however, FDA clearance or approval is not currently required for clinical use. The results are not intended to be used as the sole means for clinical diagnosis or patient management decisions.

Patient results determined by assays using different manufacturers for methods may not be comparable.
Special Instructions: Hormone FNA includes Thyroglobulin and/or Parathyroid hormone and please include a saline control in a separate container. If Calcitonin is needed, then order Miscellaneous Reference Lab test [LAB000].
