Special Instructions: NOTE: FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS PATIENTS ONLY. The CF throat workup does not include Group A Strep unless specifically requested. The CF throat workup includes culturing for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staph aureus, Burkholderia cepacia, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, and other potential pathogens. There will be a separate charge for organism identification and susceptibility when appropriate.
