Temperature: Separate within one hour and store at 2-8C until delivery
Stability: Room temperature: 1 day; Refrigerated: 7 days; Frozen: 30 days
Reasons for Rejection: Hemolyzed specimens, EDTA, QNS

Special Instructions: Fasting sample recommended. Ship samples FROZEN and PROTECTED FROM LIGHT. Effective 5/29/18, the acceptable tube type for Folate testing is Gold Top tube.
