Reasons for Rejection: Hemolyzed sample, lipemic sample, Plasma or ambient specimens
Days Performed: Monday - Friday
Times Performed: Batched on first shift
TAT: 24 hours
Significance: Patient results determined by assays using different manufacturers for methods may not be comparable.
Special Instructions: Separate from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Lipemic or hemolyzed samples are not acceptable for Free Light Chain analysis.
