Special Instructions: Specimen must be labeled with patient's first and last name, Medical Record number (non VUMC: unique identifier), collection date, and phlebotomist ID. PPID must be performed. Collection time on requisition if not captured in VUMC EMR. Must maintain specimen at 37C. Collect at 37C (place on heel warmer . If heel warmer not availabe, indicate on requisition and send specimen.
